Acknowledge the specific emotion you are experiencing. Name the fear clearly to begin addressing it.

Are you willing to admit this fear is real?
Accept that the fear exists without judgment. This step is about honesty with yourself.

What or who did you initially blame for this fear?
Identify the external cause you attributed to the fear, even if it’s incorrect, to begin releasing its hold.
